Scholarships to attend Middle School, High School and College student conferences at the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara.

The San Ramon Valley Republican Women Federated seeks students who are interested in learning more about the foundations of our Republic and conservative principles.  Young America’s Foundation (https://www.yaf.org/) in partnership with the Reagan Ranch offer student seminars for middle school, high school and college students throughout the year.

SRVRWF is offering to underwrite student seminars for YAF’s program which will give students an insight into the people, places and ideas that shaped our 40th President, allowing them to better understand why an dhow Ronald Reagan changed the country and the world and how they can do the same.  The very essence of President Reagan’s character is found at the Ranch - his humility, optimism, hard work, love for freedom, and belief in the American Dream.  The Ranch embodies his vision of what America was, is, and could be - a “Shining City on a Hill.”

Today, young people are taught that America is the exact opposite - a place of racism, oppression, and limited opportunity - and that our most important systems and institutions - the Constitution, free enterprise, free speech, and religious liberty among them - are simply instruments of this oppression.  These programs will help students grapple with important questions about American identity and better equip them to understand and defend the principles of freedom.

Throughout the program, students will hear from some of the Conservative Movement’s brightest minds, be inspired by their stories and insights, meet like minded peers from across the country and tour Rancho del Cielo, Ronald Reagan’s “Western White House” and home of 25 years.
